| Placed atop the Spanish Steps, the The Church of SS. Trinità's setting is truly incomparable. To the left is the Villa Medici, the French Academy, where many of the great French painters went to study during their de rigeur sojourn in Rome to study the fabulous wealth of Rome's art and antiquities. This view is taken from the house and studio of the 20th century metaphysical painter Giorgio de Chirico. | |||||
