New York

A gallery of New York cityscape photography by fine art photographer Adam Butler. All of these images were captured on two short visits in 1997 and in 2000, and therefore show a very different New York than today. A repeat trip is in planning, and is clearly long overdue. It is interesting and revealing to show views of NY captured from the now tragically lost Twin Towers, so these images have some historical value. Alas I had only a Nikon SLR camera and black and white 35mm film, so the images are not as sharp as the latest technology would offer, but I have still blown them up to large sizes with no issues from the lovely filmic graininess within them.
