Hans is a Swedish engineer, business consultant and semi-professional cyclist; his wife Ruth a Swiss psychologist. After their kids grew up and flew the nest, they decided to sell the family home on the Surrey borders of London, and to move into a triplex apartment in Belsize Park, a fashionable and central London neighbourhood, so as to be able to enjoy the city lifestyle and culture.
They employed the stylish interior designer and fellow Swede Mia Karlsson, whose studio is located close by, and allowed her free reign to transform the interiors with her signature bright and delightfully colourful style.
