I spotted this elegant Gulfstream Aerospace GIV-X (G450) in Pisa airport runway in early August 2023. Its tail number is N450AB, and it was built in 2006 with 2 Rolls Royce TAY 611-8C engines. This private jet is registered in Newport, California, so it clearly makes long haul flights. How wonderful it must be to take a transatlantic trip in this handsome and sleek 22 seater aeroplane. For many, many years I had a close friend, Simon Bush, who was a senior pilot for NetJets, and we had plans to fly together to take photographs and videos. Sadly Simon died in 2020, just before his 60th birthday, after a long battle with cancer. Carpe Diem, as they say.
