This view, a panorama of downtown Miami across the Biscayne Bay, I captured early one morning in January 2023 from the top deck of a cruise ship. It is a panorama of this amazing city at dawn with the MacArthur Causeway, the 6 lane artery joining Miami with South Beach, over the still waters of the Biscayne Bay.
This is a multi-shot, digitally blended ultra high resolution panoramic image of the Miami skyline, capturing as much fine detail as is possible. It comprises of 3 layers of 10 images, making it an breathtakingly detailed, razor sharp, wide sweeping view of this dramatic, modern skyline.
Also visible in the image are the plethora of beautiful boats docked on the Biscayne Bay and around and Watson Island, and the cluster of skyscrapers in the centre of the image represent the Hilton and Marriot Hotels. In the centre of the composition is the colourful building of the Miami Children’s Museum and School, located on Watson Island.
