The Albert Bridge is in my opinion the most beautiful bridge spanning the River Thames. Its graceful yet delicate Victorian elegance are a joy to see, and the fact that it joins the tree-lined Chelsea Embankment with its beautiful houses to the Battersea Park on the south side makes its location unique too.
Many of my panoramas of London include the dramatic skyline, but this more tranquil view is one I am particularly proud of. It is also one of my favourite places in London; I lived here for almost 2 years with my brother back in the late 1980s after finishing university so the park and this bridge became home!
