Canary Wharf Panorama: London in High Resolution

A wide view over Millwall Inner Dock and the skyscrapers of Canary Wharf. This image I captured from a high vantage point in the Arena Tower, a residential tower block situated on the Millwall Outer Dock just south of South Quay station. In the centre of the image can be seen the Millwall Inner Dock waterway. Many of the skyscrapers of Canary Wharf can be seen in this panorama, along with the graceful curve of the DLR railway line alongside Marsh Wall at left. I love these views against the late evening summer sky of gleaming modern skyscrapers and urban scenes. Modern architecture fascinates me, and living in these places must be exhilarating.
