Evening Panoramic View of London from the East

This panoramic image of London is from one of the best viewpoints I know. The distant location means that the entire city is visible, including a parade of the entire curtain of skyscrapers growing up in The City and in Canary Wharf.

Many of the iconic structures of the London skyline can be seen here, from left is the London Eye, the Shard, St Paul’s, Tower Bridge, to the O2 Arena at far right

This panorama was shot in late April 2021, on a chilly but beautiful, clear day with lovely cloud formations punctuating the sky. The beautiful colours of the last rays of light adds to the serenity of this unique view.
