This is a photo of the dome of St Paul’s and Millennium Bridge. I captured this as a long exposure photograph so as to smooth out the surface of the River Thames. The minute long exposure also removed all traces of people walking across the bridge. Choosing to capture an image with water via a long exposure imparts a calm tranquillity to the image, enhancing the two main elements of this composition, the 21st century design of the bridge, and the 17th century Baroque dome of St Paul’s cathedral.

This photograph is available as a limited edition museum print, or as a framed photograph in various framing options.
