This panoramic image of London with a fiery sky is from one of the finest viewpoints to encapsulate the entire centre of London. The distant location means that a vast, wide view is visible, including a parade of the entire curtain of skyscrapers growing up in The City and in Canary Wharf.
Many of the iconic structures of the London skyline can be seen here, from left is the London Eye, the Shard, St Paul’s, Tower Bridge, to the O2 Arena and the River Thames at far right
This panorama was shot in late April 2021, on a chilly but beautiful, clear day with lovely cloud formations punctuating the sky. The beautiful, glowing colours as the dying embers of the sun light up the sky and clouds adds to the drama of this unique view.
