This fantastic view is one of my favourite images of Panarea. In its restrained and minimalist features, are however evokes the essence of this wonderful art of the world; the whitewashed simple geometrical architectural style of it’s cuboid buildings, the brilliant contrasts of light, the views of the sea, the rich blue, and the stillness. Nothing detracts from the refined beauty of this view, the absence of any other elements make the simple composition really sing. Sometimes less really is everything.
